At the time of this writing, our grandson Dirk is serving somewhere in Iraq again.  It is difficult to think that the first time I saw a picture of that little boy I cried and wanted to be sure he was protected from the cruelties of the world.  Now he is part of the U.S. Army

and it seems the tables have been turned.
